Eleventh Annual Golf
Outing Needs Sponsors. The 11th Annual Golf Outing will be
held on Monday, September 27, at the Devils Knob Golf Course, Wintergreen Resort.
Co-Sponsored by the Individual Agents of the Wintergreen Real Estate Company,
who have set the bar high for all Nelson and surrounding County companies to
emulate. The agents have pledged the funds for an entire home.
This outstanding start has the committee hoping to raise our goal to
duplicate their pledge by all other businesses, resulting in the Golf Outing
events funding a second home. Sponsor registration is now open
and can be easily done by clicking on the "2004 Golf Outing" link above.
While we are looking for event sponsors, individuals also may contribute by
supplying gifts/items for our Auction. Every donated item will help!
-

2003 Fund Raising
Exceeded Expectations: 2003 was a very successful fund raising
year. Proceeds from our 10th Annual Golf Tournament, Yard and Bake Sale,
and Readers Digest Subscription Program combined to raise about $20,000.
With additional grants received from The Donovan, Wheaton and SAW Foundations,
plus a tool grant from Makita Tools, our financial goals are well underway.
